Today, Centre for Enhancing Democracy and Good Governance., with continued support from UNFPA Kenya , conducted a focused engagement at Nzimaheart Runners Camp a female-only athletics training facility in Iten dedicated to nurturing ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐น๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐น๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐.
This special camp visit provided an opportunity to ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฉ/๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ (๐ฆ๐ข๐ฃ๐) to the unique realities of the camp, while ensuring full compliance with ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ด๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐.
The athletes and camp management welcomed the session with enthusiasm, terming it a timely and necessary intervention, especially amid rising concerns over Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (SEAH) in the sporting world.

Nzimaheartโs leadership also pledged full commitment to embed the SOPs into their camp governance and routines, marking another step forward in building safe, dignified, and supportive spaces for women in athletics.
